Qabil Ramazan oglu Adilov was born in the Ismayilli region. In 1972, he graduated from Ismayilli City Secondary School No. 1 and entered the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Azerbaijan State University. After graduating in 1978, he began working as a "junior laboratory assistant" at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences.

Between 1978 and 1983, he first completed an internship at the Computing Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences and subsequently continued his activities as a postgraduate student at the Institute of Control Sciences of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1987, he defended his candidate dissertation in "Systems Theory and Systems Analysis," receiving the title of "Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences."

From 1987 to 2001, he worked at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, and later at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, holding positions ranging from "laboratory assistant," "senior laboratory assistant," and "researcher" to "senior research fellow."

Between 2001 and 2023, he worked at Mersin University in Mersin, Turkey, and Akdeniz University in Antalya, first as an associate professor and later as a professor (from 2009 onwards).

Since 2025, he has been working as a "lecturer" at the Faculty of Engineering of Karabakh University.
